Huge thanks to Oracle for hosting us at the Partner Advisory Board over the last couple of days in London, UK. It's been great to catchup with Art Carlucci, Chris Haussler, Chris Shutts, Graham McInnes, Richard Lefebvre, Mike LaMark, Elsa Alves and Scott Falconer and to be have met some new contacts including Angela Wells, Helen Pitts and Heather Sieberg. It was also wonderful to see our friends, and fellow partners, Lorena Collado and Joaquin Lorente from Arin Innovation, Mark Emmett from Engagement Factory and Tom Field from BPI OnDemand. Have a good weekend all!
It was an honour to be invited to the Oracle Partner Network in London earlier this week, and the Customer Experience (CX) Strategy meeting was, as usual, very insightful. It's great to hear about future plans for the Oracle CX suite of products. Huge thanks to Neil Pridham, Scott Falconer, Elsa Alves, Kate Lynskey and Ruth Arnold for running such a worthwhile event. This week we also travelled to Dublin to meet the Oracle Digital team. Thanks go to Seamus Flanagan, Fergal Geraghty, Gary Murphy, Fionnbarra Claffey, Jamie McKee, Bernard Hoytink, Killian Colman, Daniel Cooney, Declan Redmond, Ron Turner, Kevin Mclinden and Dimitrios Koumpoulis for hosting us on Wednesday. It's been great to be in collaboration with so many Oracle teams this week.

It was an absolute privilege to join Oracle and BPI OnDemand last night and to be a part of the Michelin CX Event this year that was held at the prestigious Berry Bros. & Rudd. Enjoying an event that took place in a building that dated back to the 16th century was quite something, and it was also very interesting to hear stories from our Berry Bros host about the famous people of the past and their excuses for buying wine!
Representatives from Walpole Partnership have been privileged to attend not only one, but two of the Oracle Modern Customer Experience (MCX) days this week – the first in Frankfurt and the second in London. We couldn’t get to the Stockholm MCX, as today we’ve been busy with the Oracle CPQ Partner Advisory Board in London, but a couple of the team are in Sweden on business next week, so we’ll hopefully get to check in with our Oracle friends over there soon.
Check out this recent Oracle blog post entitled, 'CPQ is the Underrated CX Middle Child and Here’s Why You Should Love It!'
The impact of CPQ on surrounding departments and systems can’t be underestimated, both in terms of the power it can unleash, but also the stakeholders it may need to manage.
You need a very flexible and strong ‘middle child’ to make the most of that opportunity, and Oracle CPQ Cloud is one of the few that can do this.
We’ve got a free consultation on offer here to anyone who wants some help understanding how a CPQ system can help make their family complete or you can download our ebook here.
Oracle really do know how to put on an event, and the recent CX Partner Showcase Day in Dublin was no exception. It was, as the title suggests, a great showcase for the partners who deal in the CX suite of Oracle products and we’re so glad that Walpole Partnership’s MD, Andy Pieroux, was able to be there. As well as getting all the latest news on the CX products, the event enables its partners to meet with the Oracle Direct sales teams and managers, and it was good to see Crevan O'Malley, Feargal McDonnell, Seamus Flanagan and Eithne Leavy, and all their teams yesterday. A special thank you to Ciaran Shanley for sparing so many people from his teams for the day too. The event also provides the opportunity to build relationships with other partners who provide CX solutions. Neal Kent, Geraint Padfield, Aisling Larkin, Alex Love, Andy Stevens, Sagi Koborsi, Oscar Catling and Adam Wilkinson, we hope you all found the showcase as worthwhile as we did. Finally, huge thanks to the organisers Victor Perez- Estrada, Dimitrios Koumpoulis, Scott Falconer, Kate Lynskey and Ruth Arnold who put together such a great day.
Last Thursday night, members of the Walpole Partnership team attended the prestigious UK Oracle User Group Partner of the Year Awards. This year the awards dinner and ceremony took place at the historic Honourable Artillery Company in the heart of the City of London.
We love Graham McInnes' post on the Oracle SMB Blog, whichever side of his brain it came from! This blend of two different schools of thought is one of the many reasons we love CPQ here at Walpole Partnership. The way it brings together different functions and mindsets is what makes an implementation interesting and sometimes challenging, but one thing it never is, is boring!
