Reflections on CPQ Heroes in Paris

Image from iOSIngmar Hermans and Antoine Jansen from Walpole Partnership recently spent a few days in Paris at the extremely insightful CPQ Heroes event. Just over twenty Oracle Sales Engineers (SEs) who are directly involved with CPQ attended the event. We felt privileged to be able to meet the majority of the SEs individually, and were also given the opportunity to present to the group and explain how Walpole Partnership uniquely adds value during a CPQ implementation process.

 

Our presentation was very positively received, especially as we offered the 'CPQ Co-Prime Partnership' to all Sales and SE teams in EMEA. We also presented a number of successful implementation use cases in various industries and answered a number of questions about how we integrated CPQ with ERP and CRM systems, and explained how this made a difference to the companies involved. We expressed that Walpole Partnership is there to help Oracle so that they can support the Sales Teams with RFI/RFPs, build bespoke CPQ demos, support face-to-face demonstrations, arrange proofs of concept and pilots and of course, carry out CPQ implementations and integrations. 

 

We truly enjoyed the open and positive atmosphere in Paris, and also the transparent and engaging face-to-face interactions with the individual SEs. The willingness to collaborate and share CPQ opportunities for the benefit of successful Oracle CPQ implementations and integrations was also very rewarding.

 

We were invited to dinner and drinks each evening, and what also stood out for us was the session from Oracle CPQ Product Management USA. This informed us about the updated CPQ Roadmap, a highlight of which must be the Subscription Cloud Service and the way ERP Sales can leverage from offering that new cloud service.

 

Our three days in Paris were busy but wonderfully engaging and worthwhile, and after that event we truly believe that now more than ever, we can deliver added value by being the trusted CPQ Partner in EMEA for all Oracle Sales Teams and SEs, by supporting any incoming CPQ request!
