Check out this recent Oracle blog post entitled, 'CPQ is the Underrated CX Middle Child and Here’s Why You Should Love It!'
The impact of CPQ on surrounding departments and systems can’t be underestimated, both in terms of the power it can unleash, but also the stakeholders it may need to manage.
You need a very flexible and strong ‘middle child’ to make the most of that opportunity, and Oracle CPQ Cloud is one of the few that can do this.
We’ve got a free consultation on offer here to anyone who wants some help understanding how a CPQ system can help make their family complete or you can download our ebook here.
Oracle really do know how to put on an event, and the recent CX Partner Showcase Day in Dublin was no exception. It was, as the title suggests, a great showcase for the partners who deal in the CX suite of Oracle products and we’re so glad that Walpole Partnership’s MD, Andy Pieroux, was able to be there. As well as getting all the latest news on the CX products, the event enables its partners to meet with the Oracle Direct sales teams and managers, and it was good to see Crevan O'Malley, Feargal McDonnell, Seamus Flanagan and Eithne Leavy, and all their teams yesterday. A special thank you to Ciaran Shanley for sparing so many people from his teams for the day too. The event also provides the opportunity to build relationships with other partners who provide CX solutions. Neal Kent, Geraint Padfield, Aisling Larkin, Alex Love, Andy Stevens, Sagi Koborsi, Oscar Catling and Adam Wilkinson, we hope you all found the showcase as worthwhile as we did. Finally, huge thanks to the organisers Victor Perez- Estrada, Dimitrios Koumpoulis, Scott Falconer, Kate Lynskey and Ruth Arnold who put together such a great day.

Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) work together to provide an end-to-end solution for sales teams and their customers. CRM works with CPQ and ERP, capturing data on demand, and producing error-free quotes and proposals.
Combining all three can optimise sales processes, giving you a competitive advantage in your sector.
Last Thursday night, members of the Walpole Partnership team attended the prestigious UK Oracle User Group Partner of the Year Awards. This year the awards dinner and ceremony took place at the historic Honourable Artillery Company in the heart of the City of London.

Implementing CPQ in Sweden
September 18, 2018 | posted in CPQ
A project we’re excited to be working on at the moment is based in Sweden. We’re helping an enterprise company in the Financial Services sector gain the many benefits of implementing a Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Cloud solution.
As the project progresses, we’ll share more, but it’s safe to say that we’re enjoying working with the project team to deliver a great CPQ solution supporting the Digital Transformation journey for our client.
We love Graham McInnes' post on the Oracle SMB Blog, whichever side of his brain it came from! This blend of two different schools of thought is one of the many reasons we love CPQ here at Walpole Partnership. The way it brings together different functions and mindsets is what makes an implementation interesting and sometimes challenging, but one thing it never is, is boring!
